Youth Drama Classes
The Nowra Players have been operating youth drama classes for many years. Classes are offered to primary (minimum year 1 at school) and secondary students aged from 6 to 18 years of age.

The classes are conducted by qualified teachers who have educational qualifications to degree level and have experience in staging plays.

Students in the drama classes are encouraged to audition for Nowra Players productions and have appeared in several. The drama students will hold class presentations for family and friends at least once a year.

In addition, Nowra Players host and sponsor the Shoalhaven Youth Drama Awards, an annual event (usually near the end of term 3 at school) where students from local schools perform dramatic pieces before a guest judge.
